All photography sessions are taken with a photo journalistic approach. It is not just about capturing each moment as it happens but sizing up the scene, combining contrasting elements and anticipating that crucial moment when it all comes together.
pricing & packages
With all services and packages, you own full rights to your images. You will receive all images as 4x6 prints with the digital, high resolution files on a disc. In addition, all images are uploaded to a private online album. You and invited guests have the ability to review images and order prints.
wedding photography
Sharing a connection with the bride and groom and knowing their style and personality enables me to capture moments to uniquely tell the story of the wedding day. Pre-wedding meetings are arranged a couple of weeks out from the wedding. I will also scout any locations I am not familiar with to ensure everything goes smoothly the day of the wedding. Wedding packages start at $2500. A non-refundable, 50% deposit is required to reserve the day. The remaining 50% is due 1 week prior to the wedding. portrait photography
Nature is my studio. I take advantage of the beauty of our surroundings and natural light. I am happy to suggest many outdoor venues that work for each season or I can come to the comfort of your home yard. Session fees start at $250 and vary depending on shoot details. event and business photography

travel
While based in the Charlottesville, VA area, I am more than willing to travel and welcome the opportunity to be immersed in different cultures and experiences. Fees may apply when travel exceeds 45 miles outside of Charlottesville.
